Play Online — Find an Opponent
Log in and press Play Online, which is also available below the board on a phone. All your unlocked formats automatically start seeking; select No beside any format you do not want. When another player seeks the same format, you are paired automatically. The first player to seek plays White. Each online move has a 25-second time limit, with a countdown during the final 10 seconds.
Find a match
- Create an account or log in.
- Press Play Online.
- All your unlocked formats start seeking automatically. Choose No for any format you do not want to play.
- When another player seeks the same format, your game starts automatically.
Take your turn
The first player to seek plays White and moves first. Tap an empty square when gravity is off, or a column with space for Down or Up, or a row with space for Left or Right. In Rotate, choose any empty square and let the new piece slide in the direction shown by the arrows. Wait for the other player to move before playing again.
The move timer
Each move has a 25-second time limit. After 15 seconds, the final 10-second countdown begins. Play before time runs out to avoid losing on time.
Finish or leave a game
Connect the required number of pieces to win. A full board without a winning line is a draw. Starting a new game during an active match asks you to confirm resignation.
