How the League Table Works

Each game format has its own league table. The table ranks players by their skill rating for that format, rather than by their combined trophies.

Choose a game format

Open League Table in the top menu. The game-format drop-down lists the formats available to your account, including their gravity icons. Choose a format to load its table. Browsing a different league does not change the game selected on your board.

Board width, height, winning target and gravity define a format. For example, Four in a Row with Down gravity has a different league from the same board with Random gravity.

Reading the table

The columns show Position, Player and Skill Level. The highest skill rating takes first place. When ratings are equal, usernames are ordered alphabetically. Your own row is highlighted. The Admin account is excluded from the public standings.

At least positions 1–10 are displayed. If fewer players have ratings for that format, the remaining names and ratings are blank. These are empty places, not additional players.

Finding your position

If you are in the top 20, the table can show the top 20. Otherwise, it shows the top ten and, when you have a position below 20, your row with up to four neighbours above and below. A gap marks omitted positions.

Improving your position

Your rating changes through rated games against AIs and different human accounts online. A strong result against a higher-rated opponent usually helps more than beating a lower-rated opponent. Two humans playing locally on the same device do not change your skill rating. Read the Skill Rating guide for the calculation and beginner-AI limits.

Use the Trophies screen to compare your combined rewards across all formats instead.
